How MilitaryMedicine works
MilitaryMedicine has two sides. Veterans use the calculator and guides at no cost and choose when to send a match request. VA-accredited representatives subscribe to receive those requests.
For veterans in five steps
Calculate. Add your conditions and ratings to the VA combined rating calculator and see the VA math step by step.
Learn. Read what the rating schedule looks for, for example in our guide to the VA rating for PTSD or the VA C&P exam.
Send a match request. Pick your state, your claim stage and the type of representative you want.
Confirm your email. Enter the 6-digit code we email you. Nothing is sent until you confirm.
Choose. Accredited representatives who serve your claim type reply, and you decide whom to talk to.
Using MilitaryMedicine is free for veterans. Accredited Veterans Service Organizations also help with claims at no cost, and accredited representatives generally may not charge before VA decides your initial claim (38 CFR 14.636).
For representatives in five steps

Accreditation check. We check your name and accreditation against the public VA accreditation records before your profile goes live.
Set your profile. Choose the states you serve and the request types you handle, from initial claims to appeals and military disability.
Receive requests. Each request includes the condition list, current ratings, combined rating, claim stage and state. Accept or decline from your inbox.
Grow from your own site. Embed the calculator on your website. Requests from it land in the same inbox.
Rules that keep the marketplace fair
- Representatives pay a flat subscription for advertising. There is no share of fees and no payment per case.
- Veterans choose whom to contact. We never assign a veteran to a representative.
- Only VA-accredited attorneys and claims agents are listed.
- Our results are general information, not legal or medical advice. Only VA decides a rating.
