Who runs the service

The service is operated by the administrator of the militarymedicine.com service. You can reach the administrator at [email protected].

What the service does

MilitaryMedicine offers veterans a combined VA rating calculator, condition guides and a match request that reaches VA-accredited representatives. Representatives subscribe to a verified profile and a monthly allowance of veteran match requests. MilitaryMedicine is an independent service and is not affiliated with the VA or the Department of Defense.

No legal or medical advice

MilitaryMedicine is not a law firm and does not give legal or medical advice. The calculator result is an estimate, not an official decision. Guides are general information. Using the site does not create an attorney and client relationship with us. Read our full independent service disclaimer.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. Representatives must be VA-accredited attorneys or claims agents, or work for a practice that employs them, and must give accurate details about themselves and their accreditation.

Free for veterans

Veterans and their families use the calculator, the guides and the match request free of charge. Accredited Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs) also help with claims at no cost.

Rules for representatives

• Hold current VA accreditation and keep it current. We check accreditation against public VA records, and we suspend a profile when accreditation lapses.
• Follow 38 CFR 14.636 on fees, including that fees generally may not be charged before VA issues an initial decision on a claim.
• Do not share fees with MilitaryMedicine or with any person who is not allowed to receive them. Your subscription pays for a profile and a request allowance, never for a share of any fee.
• Give veterans accurate information and respond to requests honestly.
• Keep veteran data confidential and use it only to respond to the request.

We may suspend or close a profile that breaks these rules.

Subscriptions and renewal

Representative plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. When you cancel, renewal stops and access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Prices are shown on the MilitaryMedicine pricing page.

Request allowances

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of veteran match requests. The allowance counts requests delivered to you in the billing period. Deleting or archiving a request does not return it to your allowance. Unused requests do not carry over, and a new allowance starts with each billing period.

Payments are final

All payments are final and non-refundable. We make an exception only for a duplicate charge, a proven unauthorized charge, or a complete outage of the service that we cause. Canceling stops future renewals and does not refund the current period. To report a duplicate or unauthorized charge, write to [email protected].

Consumers in the EU

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you agree at checkout that the service starts right away. Once you give that agreement, your right of withdrawal ends.

Acceptable use

• Do not send false information or requests on behalf of someone without their permission.
• Do not scrape, copy or resell the directory or veteran data.
• Do not try to break, overload or bypass the security of the service.
• Do not use the service to contact veterans for anything other than their request.

Limits of liability

We provide the service as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made by VA, for the work of independent representatives, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to a representative is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes, we tell account holders by email before they take effect.
